VOLCBAT or VCB as we are commonly known was originally founded as RSF in 2002 under the leadership and direction of Steve, Supafly and Deadmeat. The squad continued to grow in size until in late 2003 it reformed into VCB.

Since then the squad has gone from strength to strength, pioneering the "British co-op squad" genre that many other squads have since adopted. A combination of squaddie humour, good banter, regular games, and a good level of training and organisation keeps VOLCBAT at the forefront of the co-op genre.
