VOLCBAT is a British based co-op squad, using British kit and British tactics. The squad is run and structured as Morton Platoon of the 2nd Battalion, The Volunteer Commandos, with the appropriate rank, organisation and structure for an infantry platoon.

Consequently, our style of play is generally co-operative against the AI. We almost exclusively play in-house missions, which we tackle in as realistic a manner as is practical.

Games are played regularly on our private dedicated server, and game time is usually 20:00 GMT on both a Wednesday & Sunday.
In addition, training takes place on unit, sub-unit and section level. Training is typically run by those members of the squad with real life experience in the armed forces.

The biggest strength of VCB is its members, we aren’t necessarily looking for the most uber-1337 h4xx0r gamer (though we do have one or two), nor are we looking only for people with military experience (though we have some of them too). The ideal ‘VCBer’ is one who enjoys playing ArmA 2, has a laugh, isn’t easily offended (quite important with some of our language!) and wants to have a good time learning and putting into practice the training they receive.
