Yeh Game of Thrones is good.

Also reccomend Blue Bloods - New York cop family with Tom Sellick and Donnie Wahlberg. Worth a watch as it's one of those that doesn't need you watching it deeply every week to fully understand it.

My favourite TV series though is Sons of Anarchy, just finished watching Series 3 online as it doesn't ever seem to be getting a UK release. It's brilliant in my eyes, not deep and complex like The Wire, but it's got really strong likeable characters, a good mixture of action, comedy and romance and is loosely based off of Hamlet in the first series.  The season 3 finale is one of the best TV shows i've seen, especially after watching the previous series, it just ties up everything, making you wonder what will happen next series, but also leaving you with enough info to feel fullfilled and not angsty for the new series to the point that you turn to drugs.

Agreed, a doc. Read 'attack state red' which also covers their tour, a good read.

Yeah watching that, I have to say that looking at his qualities and how he interacted with his lads he had it spot on, and I would have loved having him as my Boss.
Its the Plt Sgt who has the role of orrible cunt, its when you get Officers trying to take that role aswell that it becomes shit, and they tend to be the ones who have there heads stuck up there arse and the ones the blokes have no respect for.
